In the midst of Silicon Valley’s cost-of-living crisis, greedy landlords and real estate speculators are making it impossible for ordinary people to keep their homes. When roommates Amanda (Avalon Fair) and Brittney (Sadie Bentley) receive a steep rent increase, they decide to work overtime to cover the costs, until Amanda discovers that her grandfather’s house is at risk of foreclosure. Now they must race against time to raise enough money, or they will be forced to leave both their homes with nowhere to go.
During the opening credits, Sadie Bentley (AKA Bayley Morrow) is sleeping topless while Avalon Fair takes a shower. Sadie wakes up and stumbles around the house, bumping into doors as she wanders around topless in a black thong, then puts on a shirt and enters the kitchen where Avalon Fair is now sitting.
