During an idyllic summer in the south of France, young Cécile (Lily McInerny) enjoys a carefree, symbiotic relationship with her widowed father, the charming Raymond. This hedonistic balance is shattered, however, by the arrival of Anne, a cultured and disciplined woman who threatens to impose new rules and upend their way of life.
