Brokat (AKA Glitter) is a 2022 Polish drama series set in 1976 in Sopot, where three determined women seek independence, economic freedom, and love amid the social and political changes of the time. The story follows their difficult choices as they deal with business, relationships, and personal challenges in a complex period.
At the beginning of the first episode, Magdalena Poplawska wakes up in her bed. She is naked, gets up, and walks to the balcony door, framed from behind.
