Directed by Philippe de Broca, Chouans! is set in Brittany during the French Revolution and tells the story of the Savinien de Kerfadec family torn apart: the patriarch sees his two adopted sons take opposing sides, fought over by their love for the beautiful Céline (Sophie Marceau), symbol of a divided nation. In addition to the film version, there is an extended four-part edition entitled Chouans: La tragédie de la guerre, which delves deeper into the conflict and historical context.
At the 11-minute mark, Sophie Marceau and a guy are alone in a forest, next to a tree trunk. Sophie is wearing a dress with a plunging cleavage that reveals her beautiful breasts and a nipple. At the thirteenth minute, the actress gets into bed with a man, kneeling facing each other. In the TV series, this sequence is longer and shows both actors totally naked, kissing and lying on the bed. In a third sequence only present in the TV series, Sophie Marceau, totally naked, comes out of the water and sits in the arms of a man who was waiting for her on the rocks.
