DAU. String Theory is the thirteenth film in the intriguing cinematic project that began with DAU. Degeneration. Nikita Nekrasov, a scientist and theoretical physicist, refuses to choose between mathematics and physics, or between one woman and another. At scientific conferences filled with eminent foreign physicists, he attempts to explain to all his women the beauty of string theory and the possibility of having enough feelings to satisfy them all.
At the twenty-eighth minute, Ekaterina Yuspina undresses behind a screen in a very dark room, then puts on clothes to leave the house. At the 114-minute mark, Svetlana Dragayeva starts making out with a man. The two are lying in bed and he is unbuttoning her dress, but the doorbell rings and Svetlana jumps up to answer the door.
