With its six independent episodes, Diary of Beloved Wife is one of the most delicate reinterpretations of the Pinku Eiga genre of the 2000s. Each film is directed by a different director, but all are based on stories by Kiyoshi Shigematsu, maintaining a domestic and emotional tone. In Diary of Beloved Wife: Feast, a married couple has a disappointing sex life. The wife (Kyoko Muramatsu) buys a dildo to compensate for her lack of orgasms. The husband buys a silicone mouth.
