Set before the first season and continuing on from the second season, it explores the rise of the Borges and the alliances necessary to maintain control of the prison. New inmates and new enemies threaten the balance achieved through violence. Internal rivalries foreshadow the criminal structures that Pastor will encounter when he infiltrates San Onofre.
