In Galaxy Quest, the actors of an old science fiction series are mistaken for real space heroes by an alien race seeking salvation. Drawn into a real mission against an intergalactic tyrant, they must improvise as real commanders and warriors. Amid misunderstandings and courage, the group rediscovers the value of friendship and authentic heroism.
