Glass Lips (AKA Blood of a Poet AKA Szklane usta) consists of sequences that interweave three parallel stories centered on a father, a son, and the mother, who plays a minor role. At the beginning, the son—who will later be committed to a mental institution—is subjected by his parents to severe punishments for a prank and suffers humiliations such as having a belt tied around his neck and being forced to drink soup like a dog. Later, it is revealed that the father is himself marked by inner fragility and inflicts upon himself the same harsh trials he once inflicted on his son.
At the twenty-third minute, Joanna Litwin, totally naked, watches herself in a mirror as she drinks from a pitcher of milk. Then, slowly, she pours the milk over her chest and nipples, following with her eyes the rivulets running down her body. She is suddenly startled by a noise: she turns and discovers a guy spying on her from the doorway. At the 48-minute mark, Michalina Rutkowska is leaning against a wall, wearing a white coat whose sleeves are nailed to the wall. A man opens the coat, exposing her breasts, and begins kissing her all over her body. At the 55-minute mark, Michalina Rutkowska stands motionless behind a man in a slaughterhouse, her dress pulled down and her breasts exposed. At the 71-minute mark, we see her naked again in the slaughterhouse, this time with a bluish complexion, perhaps frozen. In the following scene, Michalina Rutkowska is alone in a forest, with her blue dress pulled down and her breasts exposed. In this sequence, there are other women in elegant dresses, also with their dresses pulled down or lifted, as they are kissed, licked, and touched by several men. At the 88-minute mark, Joanna Litwin emerges from a swimming pool wearing a wet, see-through white dress that clings to her buttocks and reveals a glimpse of her pubic bush in the front, with a nipple peeking out of the cleavage. A man takes her by the hand to help her out of the water.
