Il dono (2003)

In rural, timeless Calabria, an elderly man lives in solitude, observing the daily activities of a small mountain community. The discovery of a photograph of a girl triggers a series of silent events that intertwine the lives of the man, a young shepherd, and a woman from the village.
At the sixty-fourth minute, Gabriella Maiolo is smoking a cigarette while sitting on a windowsill. An elderly man watches her as he sets the table. Gabriella unbuttons her shirt and remains topless. When the man has finished setting the table, she sits down and buttons her shirt back up.
