Tom, a tennis instructor at a luxury hotel on an island, spends his days drinking and having casual flings. The arrival of the Maguire family disrupts his routine and brings him closer to Anne (Stacy Martin), her husband Dave, and their son Anton. When Dave mysteriously disappears, suspicion falls on Anne and Tom, who are bound together by a shared past that resurfaces.
