A Vietnam War veteran, haunted by memories of his dead son, suffers from a severe dissociative disorder as he tries to piece together his past. To do so, he must distinguish reality and life from his dreams, illusions, and perceptions of death. His inner struggle unfolds amid fragments of memory and images that blur the line between reality and imagination.
