Roberto is a forty-year-old pharmacist who experiences two contrasting love stories: an intense and painful passion for Sara (Ksenia Rappoport), who leaves him, and his previous relationship with Alba (Monica Bellucci), which he ended for no apparent reason. Through a non-linear narrative, the film explores the duality of man in the role of victim and perpetrator, analyzing the suffering of abandonment and the coldness of those who decide to end a relationship.
