L’uomo in più follows the parallel lives of two successful men in 1980s Naples, both named Antonio Pisapia. The first is a cynical pop singer at the height of his career; the second, a melancholic soccer player nearing the end of his competitive career. Both will see their worlds suddenly collapse due to dramatic events, finding themselves sharing a similar fate of loneliness, decline, and failed redemption.
