Amalia (Ria De Simone), wife of the congressman Antenore Onorato, suspects her husband of cheating on her and decides to hire a private eye. The investigation leads to a mysterious villa in Ostia, which is revealed to be a clinic for treating male impotence. Amid misunderstandings, disguises, and absurd situations, the detective finds himself involved in a series of increasingly grotesque events.
