Las viudas de los jueves (AKA Thursday’s Widows) is a six-episode miniseries set in an exclusive residential neighborhood, where the discovery of three bodies in a swimming pool shatters the seemingly peaceful lives of the residents, who prefer to believe it was a tragic accident. The story becomes a pretext to explore the tensions and hypocrisies of some wealthy couples, amid frustrated ambitions, economic dependencies, and repressed desires. A lucid and critical portrait of a social class that hides its malaise behind the gates of privilege.
