Le libere donne is a miniseries set in Tuscany during World War II that follows psychiatrist Mario Tobino, a doctor at a women’s mental hospital who fights to restore dignity and humanity to his patients. His routine is turned upside down by the arrival of Margherita Lenzi (Grace Kicaj), a young woman committed against her will by her husband, whose story hides dark secrets. Amid dangerous investigations, clashes with the institution, and the resurgence of an old love (Gaia Messerklinger), Tobino finds himself fighting on multiple fronts in an Italy ravaged by war.

Around the bathtub, several women watch her in admiration. At the 20-minute mark, Grace Kicaj writhes totally naked in the room with concrete walls. At the 15-minute mark of the fourth episode, Grace and a man have sex on the beach, hidden by a wooden boat. At the 38-minute mark, a man has sex in bed with Gaia Messerklinger, but imagines he is doing it with Grace Kicaj. The two naked actresses alternate before our eyes. At the 22-minute mark of the fifth episode, Grace walks naked through a dark house.
