Bibiane Champagne (Marie-Josée Croze), a rich and successful young woman, leads a glamorous life surrounded by luxury and trendy nightclubs. One rainy evening, she accidentally hits a fishmonger with her car. He returns home and dies from his injuries. Overwhelmed by guilt, she tries to cover up the evidence of her crime but ends up becoming obsessed with the life of the man she killed.
