Mondo Cannibale (AKA La Dea Cannibale AKA White Cannibal Queen) is a film directed by Jesús Franco, following in the cannibal boom tradition started by Il paese del sesso selvaggio by Umberto Lenzi. Franco did not like this genre of film and admitted that he only made it for financial reasons. A man is attacked along with his family while sailing on the Amazon River. His wife is eaten by cannibals. His young daughter manages to hide under the boat and he escapes after losing an arm. Years later, he returns to the Amazon in search of his daughter, convinced that she is still alive.
