Nudometer:
Paris, 1899. Céleste (Alice Dufour), a can-can dancer at a Montmartre cabaret, is desperately searching for her brother and sister, from whom she was violently separated as a child when her father was murdered before their eyes. To pay Léon, the detective hired to find them, she is forced to dance naked, thus becoming Paris’s first stripper and causing a scandal against her will. Show after show, as she gains self-confidence, a new life opens up for her, but the demons of her past continue to haunt her.
At the 25-minute mark of the first episode, we see Anna Zogu topless in a line of women auditioning on stage, while a couple of men watch them and talk to them. Anna is near the center of the line and has red hair. Also on stage, bare-chested, are Léa Mignonat, Manon Sachot, Angelique Jerome, Elsa Levecot, and Olivia Locher. At the 48-minute mark, Alice Dufour takes off her dress on stage at the end of a ballet routine and stands naked in front of an audience that applauds enthusiastically. At the 44-minute mark of the third episode, Alice Dufour performs topless on stage. The actress holds a rifle in one hand and a flag in the other, amid the audience’s applause. Toward the end of the sixth episode, Alice Dufour, surrounded by several dancers on stage during a performance, performs while letting her white dress fall to the ground. Alice remains topless, wearing only a pearl necklace around her neck and shoulders.
