At the prestigious private Colby University, nestled in the hills of North Carolina, a senior’s apparent overdose turns out to be a potential attempted murder. Through flashbacks running parallel to the sheriff’s investigation, we see how Alicia (Mia Kirshner), a scholarship student, was gradually drawn into the social circle of three wealthy and amoral girls led by the unscrupulous Hadley (Meredith Monroe).
