After a mysterious accident, engineer Francesco isolates himself in an old Art Nouveau villa on Lake Iseo with his young daughter. However, the house is haunted by the disturbing sound of a ventilator keeping an invisible and secret guest alive. In addition to this domestic mystery, dark and dangerous presences begin to lurk around the house, threatening their fragile tranquility.
