Salt on Our Skin (AKA Desire) tells the story of George McEwan (Greta Scacchi), the daughter of a Scottish pastor and a French mother, who falls in love with a young fisherman, Gavin McCall, during a stay in Scotland. After that encounter, she returns to Paris, where she continues her education between music and romantic experiences. Torn between different places and passions, George faces her path of personal growth.
