In the film Terminator Genisys, the war between humans and machines takes an unexpected turn when Kyle Reese is sent back in time, as in The Terminator, but finds a completely different 1984. Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) is no longer a victim to be protected: she has been raised and trained by an old T-800, the “Guardian.” As the future and the past collide, Skynet takes on a new form called Genisys, threatening to rewrite the entire history of the saga.
