Terreur cannibale

Directed By: Alain Deruelle

Nudometer:
Terreur cannibale (AKA Cannibal Terror) is a 1981 French film belonging to the cannibal movie genre, directed by Alain Deruelle with the uncredited collaboration of Jesús Franco. It stands out because it was produced in France, unlike most similar titles of Italian origin. It shares locations, cast, and some scenes with Mondo Cannibale, made around the same time by Franco. After a kidnapping gone wrong, two criminals take refuge in the house of an acquaintance in the middle of the jungle, bringing their victim with them. Tension explodes when one of them molests the wife of the man who is hosting them. Abandoned to their fate, the three end up in an area controlled by a cannibal tribe that soon makes its presence known.
At the thirty-fourth minute, Pamela Stanford undresses to wash herself in a basin in the courtyard, hidden behind bamboo canes. When the actress realizes she is being spied on by a man, she gets out of the basin and runs away. At the eighty-second minute, the voluptuous Mariam Camacho is tied to a tree topless, while around her various cannibals are engaged in tribal dances. Unfortunately, this film seems to be the only performance by this beautiful actress.
