A successful African-American businessman, tormented by the crisis in his marriage and a profound sense of identity loss, sees his routine disrupted by an encounter on the subway with a mysterious white woman (Kate Mara). An ambiguous game of seduction and manipulation ensues between the two, consisting of provocations and growing tension.
At the eleventh minute, Kate Mara climbs the stairs of a subway station wearing a skimpy dress with a short skirt and sandals.
