A group of college students discovers a mysterious 19th-century coffin capable of separating the soul from the body, allowing them to experience the world of the dead while still alive. Initially attracted by the euphoric power of the experience, the students ignore the dark warnings associated with the object. Soon, the machine reveals its true nature, turning curiosity into a nightmare of possession and revenge from the afterlife.
