A Parisian worker, frustrated by the alienating routine of work and modern life, breaks through the wall of his apartment, transforming it into a primitive cave. Abandoning all social conventions, he regresses to a savage state alongside his sister, openly defying law enforcement and bourgeois respectability. The film, almost devoid of intelligible dialogue, is a provocative anarchist allegory about rebellion against capitalist society.
At the 36-minute mark, Béatrice Romand goes to open the door, parting her dress to reveal her breasts. A man is standing at the door, enjoying the view of her breasts. An elderly woman emerges from a hallway and covers Béatrice’s breasts. The man uncovers them again. At the 52-minute mark, the actress is walking down a street at night. Below them, the police are preparing to launch smoke bombs. We see them again at the 75-minute mark, lying on the floor. She shows us a full-frontal nude.
