The peace of a family living in a Venetian villa is disturbed by Luca, the disturbing imaginary friend of little Martino, whom only he can see. Unexplained and potentially paranormal events prompt the parents to call a psychiatrist, whose sudden death arouses suspicion and tension in the house. While the police talk about an accident, the grandmother and especially the mother begin to believe that Luca really exists, fueling an increasingly dark atmosphere.
