Eva (Tilda Swinton) sets aside her career and ambitions to give birth to Kevin, with whom she immediately develops a complex and conflicted relationship. When he turns fifteen, the guy commits an unforgivable and irrational act that shocks the entire community. Eva thus finds herself grappling with grief and guilt, questioning her maternal love and her own responsibility.
