After the haunted house story of the first season, American Horror Story: Asylum moves to Briarcliff Asylum in the 1960s. Journalist Lana Winters is forcibly committed as she tries to expose the brutal methods of the facility, run by Sister Jude and the sadistic Dr. Arden.
