The ninth season of American Horror Story, 1984, pays homage to 1980s slashers: a group of guys work as counselors at a campground reopened after a massacre years earlier. As the legendary serial killer Mr. Jingles escapes from the asylum, the youths discover that the campground harbors even deadlier secrets.
