In Italy, this is probably the most famous film on the subject of drug addiction. All the actors were former drug addicts (and some were still on drugs) and the film chronicled their days in search of money to buy heroin.
In the film, there is also Michela Mioni‘s nude debut, indeed her debut as an actress, because this was her first – and last – film.
