Anatomie de l’enfer (Anatomy of Hell) is a cinematic experiment that mixes fantasy, feminist philosophy and religious symbolism. Considered a sequel to Romance, it explores once again the existential emptiness of a woman seeking relief. The protagonist, played by Amira Casar, invites a gay misogynist (Rocco Siffredi) to confront his distaste for the female body. Both characters try to overcome their hatred: he for women, she for herself and her femininity.
