Au fond des bois (AKA Deep in the Woods) follows the disappearance of Joséphine (Isild Le Besco), a young woman from a good family, after the arrival of a deaf-mute drifter. Although she initially seems to reject him, she follows him into the heart of the forest. But is she kidnapped or is it by choice?
