Mazurka på sengekanten

Directed By: John Hilbard

Nudometer:
Mazurka på sengekanten (AKA Bedroom Mazurka) is the first in a series of eight films called Bedside-films. They are films directed by John Hilbard from 1970 to 1976 and are part of an erotic wave in Danish cinema. The eight films are all produced by A/S Palladium and are connected by the Danish word “sengekant,” which means bedside in English. Like the Zodiac-films series, the Bedside-films also had hardcore scenes, but were considered mainstream. They all had mainstream cast and crew and were shown in mainstream theaters and reviewed in national newspapers. The first five films, however, have no hardcore scenes. This first film is set in the private boys’ boarding school Krabbesøgaard. The school’s dean has been appointed the new minister of culture and must find his replacement. The choice falls to the young teacher Mikkelsen, who is popular with the students because he wants to turn the boys’ school into a co-ed school that also admits girls. However, there is a problem. Mikkelsen is a virgin, and school policy dictates that the dean must be a married man. The students have 30 days to find him a wife.
After almost 27 minutes, the first nude actress arrives. Anne Grete Nissen enters a room wearing a transparent robe. Soon after, the actress removes her robe and shows us her perfect naked body. Four minutes later, Jeanette Swensson plays a pornoshop clerk who receives customers topless. Thirteen minutes later, Gunilla Ekroth delights us with a striptease. Immediately following is a sexy scene starring Susanne Jagd and a ladder. Fifteen minutes later the beautiful Annie Birgit Garde undresses for a sex scene in bed with a man. Gunilla Ekroth strips again five minutes later. Further on, a guy has sex with Anne Grete Nissen in a forest.
