The warrior Beowulf must first fight and defeat the monster Grendel, who is terrorizing Denmark, then Grendel’s mother, who starts killing in revenge.
The film was presented as a 3D product, to be watched with polarized glasses. The staging of monsters and effects is spectacular, but the actors often look like video game characters, with smooth, plastic skin.
In the twenty-second minute Leslie Zemeckis shows us generous cleavage as she cleans a table with a brush. Thirty-six minutes later Angelina Jolie emerges from a lake. She is totally naked, but her body is covered with a layer of gold plating. We see Angelina Jolie naked again at the end of the film. This time she is floating in the sea and is not covered in gold.
