Brancaleone da Norcia, left alone after the defeat of his previous army, gathers a new group of vagrants and sets off for the Holy Land, determined to conquer the Holy Sepulchre. Between deceptions, parodies of the chivalric world and grotesque situations, his journey turns into a series of tragicomic misadventures.
