Ciao! Manhattan is a movie that starts shooting in 1967. Initially it was supposed to be a film about the underground world, but over time it becomes a film about Edie Sedgwick‘s life. There are shots in black and white in New York and then three years of shooting, in color, in California. Edie is sitting on a half-naked waterbed, and remembers the years of her life.
