Diana Cavalieri (Matilda De Angelis), a Citadel agent infiltrated within the ranks of Manticore, finally has a chance to free herself from the enemy. But to do so, she must decide whether to trust the unexpected heir to Manticore Italy, Edo Zani. Set in the 2030s in Milan, the series begins in the midst of a failed mission and immediately shows us the character of the protagonist. Through flashbacks, we learn about the trauma that transformed Diana into the agent she is today.
