In the year 1350, Giovanni Boccaccio is assigned to deliver money to the only surviving daughter of the poet Dante Alighieri: Sister Beatrice, or Antonia Alighieri. On his way from Florence to Ravenna, Boccaccio retraces Dante‘s life, telling us his story.
In the 20th minute, a young Dante Alighieri dreams of his beloved Beatrice, played by Carlotta Gamba, naked and supported by a hooded man dressed in black. Thirty minutes later Ludovica Pedetta, who plays Gemma Donati, Dante’s wife, is sitting on the bed, naked, framed from the back. Twenty minutes later, Morena Gentile removes her clothes in front of the protagonist, then enters the bed with him for a sex scene.
