Dr. T, a successful gynecologist in Dallas, sees his perfect life crumbling: his wife (Farrah Fawcett) is having a mental breakdown, his oldest son (Kate Hudson) is hiding her lesbian affair, and his youngest son is obsessed with scheming. While all the women around him complicate matters, only golf teacher Bree (Helen Hunt) seems to offer him some peace.
