Een vrouw als Eva (AKA A Woman Like Eve) is the tale of a married woman (Monique van de Ven), with two children, who decides to divorce after she meets Liliane (Maria Schneider) and falls in love with her. Eva would like custody of the children, but must argue in the courts to explain that her lesbian relationship has no bearing on her competence as a mother.
In the thirteenth minute Marijke Merckens and Monique van de Ven are sunbathing in bikinis. After a short while they take off their bras and both remain topless. Forty minutes later we are watching an intriguing lesbian scene with Monique van de Ven and Maria Schneider. In the next scene the two naked actresses are sleeping together. Maria holds a hand over one of Monique’s breasts. Five minutes later Maria Schneider is sleeping naked under the covers. Monique van de Ven wakes her up and removes the sheet. The two start making out. Five minutes from the end Monique van de Ven and Maria Schneider are sitting on the bed naked and talking, then kissing.
