Erica (Keri Russell) is the classic hot girl in American teen comedies. Peter, her nerdy neighbor, falls in love with her, but of course Erica is already engaged to an all-muscle jerk. Peter’s grandfather tells him the story of an old ancestor of theirs who camped out under his beloved’s balcony until she considered him. Peter decides to do the same thing and camps in Erica’s backyard for the three summer months before she leaves for college. Will the plan work?
