Everytime

Directed By: David LaChapelle

Nudometer:
Everytime is a melancholic pop ballad by Britney Spears, released in 2004 as the third single from her fourth album, In the Zone. The song was co-written by Britney herself along with Annet Artani, and is often interpreted as a veiled response to the end of one of her romantic relationships. The music video, directed by David LaChapelle, caused a stir at the time for its powerful and symbolic imagery: it shows Britney under siege by paparazzi, getting into a bathtub and bleeding. The ambiguous ending leaves it open to interpretation, contributing to making the video one of the most talked about of her career. At one point in the video, Britney Spears strips in front of the bathtub, then gets into the water naked. We don’t see her naked breasts, but it’s still a very sexy sequence.
