First film by horror writer Clive Barker and first in a long series of films devoted to the Hellraiser saga. A woman discovers the newly resurrected, partially formed body of her brother-in-law. He asks her to kill people in order to revitalize his body so he can escape the demonic beings that are pursuing him after he escaped from their sadistic underworld.
In the seventeenth minute Clare Higgins licks a guy’s fingers, then lies in bed. We can see Clare Higgins naked in a couple of flashes of a sex scene. Twenty minutes later, the woman removes her bloodstained clothes and is left wearing transparent black lingerie. Thirty minutes later, the actress performs another sex scene.
