If These Walls Could Talk 2 is a sequel to a film aired in 1996 that focused on women and social stigma on some occasions. The first installment told stories about abortion, while this second film tells about three lesbian couples. Again, these are three separate episodes that take place in the same house in three different historical eras: 1961, 1972, and 2000.
At the beginning of the second episode, in the 36th minute, a young Michelle Williams shows her breasts as she takes off one shirt to put on another. Michelle is in the kitchen with some friends and is talking to them. Sixteen minutes later Michelle Williams and Chloë Sevigny have a passionate kiss, then Chloë pulls Michelle’s shirt off and leads her to the bed, where she kisses her breasts. A moment later Chloë is also topless and kissing and fondling Michelle. The director cuts to the next morning. The two girls wake up naked in bed. Nineteen minutes later, in the third episode, Ellen DeGeneres and Sharon Stone are in bed together and decide to have sex. The two women kiss and undress each other.
