Il Gattopardo (AKA The Leopard) is an Italian-English television series based on the novel of the same name by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa. Set in 19th-century Sicily, the series follows Prince Fabrizio di Salina as he witnesses the decline of the aristocracy and the rise of the bourgeoisie during Italian unification.
