Kneecap is set in 2019 West Belfast and follows the chance meeting between JJ, a disillusioned music teacher, and Naoise and Liam Og, two young rebels. Together they form a band that revolutionizes Irish music, adapting the Irish language to their anarchic and defiant lifestyle. However, they must face police, paramilitaries, politicians, and their own personal difficulties to make their voices heard.
