The economic crisis is often told through the eyes of workers. With L’industriale (The Entrepreneur), director Giuliano Montaldo tells it from the point of view of a factory owner who is on the verge of bankruptcy. The man is also experiencing a sentimental crisis, which jeopardizes his relationship with his wife (Carolina Crescentini).
At minute 19 Carolina Crescentini is sitting in front of the mirror and putting on her makeup. The woman is completely naked, and her husband spies on her from behind the door, enraptured by her beauty. An hour later there is a brief sex sequence. Carolina is wearing a black silk top, but her breasts are sticking out of her dress.
